The DC NEXT WEB Process
We follow 6 simple steps to ensure we knock it out of the park for our web design clients.
1) Discovery and OnBoarding –
Before we fire up the web dev engines, we have a discovery call, where we take the time to clearly understand your business goals, objectives, target audience, competitors, and the ways you’d like us to help express your brand story with your new site.
2) Crafting the Web Dev Strategy –
Now that the discovery call and initial onboarding are complete, our team will develop a web dev strategy that matches your goals for your brand new site!
3) Staging the Dev Site –
Here is where it gets fun – our team conceptualizes the first iteration of your site – we call it your dev or staging site. You can think of it as your website mockup – and this is placed on our staging server, with a temporary URL – invisible to search engines of course. We then get your feedback and revision requests on the mockup/dev site, and incorporate those before moving on in the process…
4) Creating the Content –
After your approval of the mockup site, we move on to the all-important task of content creation. Depending on what we decided with you during our discovery call, here we may be either a) producing all of the content, b) splitting the task with you, or c) simply reviewing and optimizing the content you provide to us.
5) Developing the Website –
When the heart of the web design is complete, and the content is optimized and ready for upload, we make the magic happen and bring your new site to life for you and your company.
6) Launching the Website –
Once you have reviewed the final site on our staging/dev server, and have signed off that you are thrilled with the final site, then we transfer the site to your web hosting server of choice, point your domain to the new site, and boom, we have lift-off!
